- I am not meeting her requirement that I get at least eight hours of sleep, especially on workdays.
- I am in information technology work, which by nature is stressful.
- Because I come home late at night tired, I sometimes forget to take my second tablet of Azathioprine after dinner, which she prescribed to be taken twice a day.
- I'm not drinking that much water also.

i don't know where to write this comment, so i'll just post it here.
my mom was diagnosed with SLE 5 years ago when she was still here in the philippines. she took all the prescribed medications and lived the SLE life.
last 2002, the family moved to the states. and just recently, her company gave free general check-up for its employees. at first, she was a bit hesitant on confessing her SLE to the doctors (for fear of losing her job and whatnot), but eventually she told them. she underwent series of lab tests and physical exams. after everything, she was told that she was misdiagnosed. it was only rheumatic arthritis. yeah, that's still scary, but it's not as grave as SLE (she thought).
what i'm trying to come at is that it's shocking how [some] pinoy doctors pass up a diagnosis so hastily. my mom became a guinea pig for 5 years, taking in steroids and medicines that she didn't really need.
i guess it's a different story for you. i think you had that sickness far too long to be doubting your doctors. hang on. i'll be praying for you (whoever you are).
Thank you for the prayers. I am lucky enough to have a very very good doctor. I trust her completely. I hope your mother is well too.
